While inflation has declined, Americans remain unrelieved from any reported declines in costs. Why? The answer is housing.Housing is a primary cost and one we consumers cannot readily bargain our way through. If the price of chicken or eggs rises, I can try to find a substitute. I can also choose not to go out to eat at a restaurant.
